"The annual MEA conference is a truly wonderful event, in that it provides a welcoming space for scholars from many different backgrounds, career stages, and institutions. This inclusive environment fosters the exchange of ideas that is so important for our individual and collective work as economists." Kasey Buckles, MEA President, 2022-23

Peter Orazem

"The sessions at the Midwest meetings have been terrific. Presenters show up, they get good comments, and they get the chance to network with other serious scholars. As important, the Association keeps the cost as low as possible." Peter Orazem, MEA First VP, 2008-09
